As a games art degree course we make games for PC and mobile as well as develop interactive game experiences across a range of formats.
For 2017/ 2018 CGA will now be undertaking game jams every term (during reading weeks), run by the incubatees, to promote an additional context for dynamic creative thinking and problem solving within groups. It’s an opportunity to experiment, explore risk and collaborate with new people in a vibrant and competitive setting of the CGA game studios.
The winners of the our first Game Jam, 8 teams representing, will be announced on Monday 15th May.

The winning game was from James Barrow, Fares Guettoch and Alessandra Armenante for making, Thalassophobia in Unity. Thalassophobia means, fear of the ocean or deep open water. A fabulously creepy and eerie game set at sea in a fishing boat trying to survive what lurks beneath!
The Runners Up were Yr3 team: Rat A Tat Tat by John Howard, Chris Rothwell and Michael Kirby. Honorable mentions go to Harley Hayllor for the solo project Down Beat.
